Machine Learning: Insightech delivered an Artificial Intelligence InsurTech workshop
The workshop took place from August 28th to 30th in Germany. Insightech covered fundamental and advanced techniques in machine learning, as well as best practices in algorithm design and product management required to ensure business value is ultimately delivered with advanced algorithmic applications.
Although machine learning as an important area of computer science based on mathematical theories, progress in this trend topic is driven primarily by practical requirements. In a three-day workshop, students were brought to date with latest research and industry best practices for applying machine learning in the insurance space.
Students also practiced hands-on exercises on public and real-life datasets, helping them develop an insight into the day-to-day of AI practitioners, and the technical and functional challenges encountered in practice.
April 5th, 2019 (Mexico City, Mexico):
Machine Learning: Insightech delivered a workshop on Innovating Financial Risk, Products & Services with Artificial Intelligence.
The program covered applications in Digital Banking, Payment Systems, Credit, Wealth Management, Crowdfunding, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security & Fraud Detection. Insightech also shared trends, challenges and various digital technologies implemented in financial services to maximize their profitability, efficiency and cost reduction.
With a hands-on approach, these workshops allowed reviewing and discussing specific cases of Financial Institutions that have integrated the benefits of cutting-edge technologies with added value. The workshop involved hands-on coding exercises, as well as business cases that helped participants understand the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning, from problem framing to deployment, measurement, and continuous improvement.
